Our Fourth Lesson introduces the issue of missing First Nation women in Canada, and the lack of attention it is receiving from both provincial and federal branches of government.  Although we know this topic deserves a unit all of its own, for the sake of this assignment, we only begin to touch on it, and make students aware that inequalities like this are very real in present day Canada.  This lesson and introductory video sheds light on both cultural and gender inequality in our country.

The second half of this lesson gives students some time to work on their own social action plan.  They will then fill out a self-evaluation sheet based on how the feel they worked that class.
